Our program is designed to assist in the development of social skills and social problem-solving strategies, while also promoting self-esteem. The program will work on skills such as recognizing healthy friendships, regulation when we feel big emotions, active listening, communication and shared interests, and the unspoken social rules

Although online this summer, the group will still be interactive with  group discussion, play-based activities, team building games, and role-playing. We will end with a fun online party to practice all of our new skills.

Who is the program designed for?

This program is ideal for children diagnosed with a Learning Disability and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) who may struggle with social skills or avoid social contact.

Often children with social delays or difficulties might behave immaturely, be shy or timid in groups, frequently fight with peers, and display a lack of self-esteem. This is a safe environment to unravel all of the skills that seem to be challenging for so many children.

Ideal for students in grades 5-8.
